Weekend for 2026 Community-wide Garage Sales Set

The weekend of May 28-30 will be the official dates for the 2026 community-wide garage sales. Traditionally, as many as 100 families around town offer garage sales on this date, attracting buyers from both in and out of town and creating a fun weekend for bargain shoppers.

This year, sign-up will be done through the garage sale page of this website, found at https://www.everythingmahomet.com/garagesales. There is no cost to list your garage sale, and a limited amount of space will be available for you to advertise and market your best items or types of goods.

While this site will be used for the community-wide garage sales, it is also available year round for residents of the Mahomet-Seymour school district to list their sales. If you are a committed bargain seeker, you can check the listings each week to plan your shopping.
