MAYC Madness, Mahjong and Minecraft headline the week in Mahomet
Highlights from our community calendar for the week:
MAYC Madness is a social event of the year for Mahomet residents. This sports themed dinner and auction offer free drinks, great food, dancing and a chance to bid on great packages while supporting Mahomet Area Youth Club. Saturday March 7th. Brik's Pizzeria has announced that their first ever Mahjong Night on Tuesday is FULL - but they have already scheduled a second one for April 27th from 6-8 p.m. RSVP at https://www.facebook.com/share/14TJACrNXSR/ . In the meantime, stop by Brik's to try out Loaded Baker Tater pizza - their March Pizza of the Month.
Got kids who are Minecraft fanatics? Mahomet Public Library is hosting a Minecraft Party Saturday, March 7 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. Drop-in crafts and Minecraft-themed activities are all part of this free event.
Holocaust survivor William Gingold will speak at Mahomet Library Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. Registration is encouraged for this event - Dr. Gingold has spoken twice before and always to a standing room only house.
