Below, a mix of selected events to consider... 


  • On Tuesday, June 9, there is a Village Board Study Session (6-8 p.m., 503 E. Main Street). These meetings cover specific agenda items and allow for public comments on any topic. Stay tuned for a new feature on Everything Mahomet where we will review Village meetings and issues discussed! Free 

  • The Mahomet-Seymour Women’s Walking Club will meet on Tuesday, June 9 for a Group Walk at River Bend Forest Preserve (beginning 6:30 p.m., 1602 W. Mid-America Road). Newcomers are welcome to join this all-ages group that meets routinely for walks around 2 miles long. (Club info) Free 

  • Yellow & Co will host Free Bingo on Wednesday, June 10 (5:15-6:30 p.m., 1830 Patton Drive, Suite 2). Come for the free soda and snacks, stay for the chance to win prizes! (Registration required) Free 

  • Mahomet Parks & Recreation is bringing back Neighborhood Nights for Summer 2026, beginning with a performance from The Casual Blend on Thursday, June 11 at Barber Park (6-8 p.m., 703 McDougal Road).   • On Friday, June 12, M-S Athletics will host its annual Bulldog Open Golf Outing at LOW Golf Course (beginning 7:30 a.m., 405 N. Lake of the Woods Road). Golfers 21+ will join the morning or afternoon 18-hole scramble. (More info) $125 

  • The Mahomet Chamber of Commerce will host its sixth-annual Soda Fest on Saturday, June 13 (10 a.m.-6 p.m., Main Street) featuring over 100 sodas for tasting, as well as live music, food trucks, local vendors and kids activities. This Wednesday, Everything Mahomet will post a “Know Before You Go” article outlining everything you need to know to plan a fun outing to Soda Fest! (More info) Free to attend, tasting tickets for purchase.
