Shopper's Guide to Mahomet Community-Wide Garage Sales

Mahomet is the place to be for bargain hunters this week, with a record number of garage sales taking place. Over 100 sales registered for the Community-Wide Garage Sales, and Mahomet residents are ready to resell homewares, kids items, clothing, furniture, tools, and more!

We are excited to share a complete list of sales, including item descriptions, as well as an online map of town noting the addresses of each sale. Sales take place on May 28, 29 and/or 30, with varying times each day, so be sure to consult the list to create a shopping plan. Printed copies of the garage sale list will be available at Mahomet Public Library. Library hours are: Mon - Thur 9 am - 5 pm, Fri P am - 6 pm, Sat 9 am - 5 pm and Sun 1-5 pm.

Those hosting a garage sale should consider taking any leftover items to It Takes a Village, which will host a Donation Drive on Saturday, May 30 from 1-4 p.m. Please note that they do not take furniture, exercise equipment, baby beds or car seats.
