New Candy Store Opens in Sangamon on Main

There is a new spot to purchase snacks, candy, drinks and ice cream on Main Street. Constant Cravings, owned by Jamie LeBaugh of Mahomet Small Engine, is now open in Sangamon on Main. For visitors to the gym, business owners in the building, or those out and about on Main Street, Constant Cravings offers a variety of refreshments in a spot that previously lacked even a vending machine.
LeBaugh was inspired to open Constant Cravings after visiting a candy store in Naperville and realizing that Mahomet did not have something like this. He now sells nostalgic candies like Necco Wafers and Bit-o-Honeys, modern favorites like Nerds Gummy Clusters, bulk candy varieties, and more common chocolate bars like Snickers. In addition to shelves of candy and salty snacks, there is a freezer of individual ice cream treats and a refrigerator of bottled beverages, as well as a shelf of seasonings and sauces.
Free popcorn is always on offer, and LeBaugh runs a different special discount every day.

Sangamon on Main is located on the corner of Lombard Street (Hwy 47) and Main Street, across from Jimmy Johns. This former school building hosts a variety of small businesses, including insurance, tax service, home inspections, small engine repair and a variety of wellness and beauty shops. The former gym is used by Mahomet Parks & Recreation for a variety of activities, including as a rental space for Mahomet residents. The building is open to the public, and visitors are welcome to wander around and check out what is available.
