Happy New Year 2026!

I'm always excited about a new year. Something about the prospects that lie ahead make me feel hopeful and joyful. Motivation looks multi-faceted for different people and happens at varying rates and intervals. While the notion of a new year seems to inspire change and resolution for some, it can be anxiety-producing and defeating for others.
The usual "resolutions" are related to fitness, dietary changes and productivity. I have ongoing intentions that are less related to the flip of a calendar page and more related to life goals. We should all strive to be the best versions of ourselves and whatever that entails on a personal level. Rather than focusing on a daunting self-overhaul, I find it more within-grasp to make tiny, incremental changes, starting with mindset, that can last the whole year through.
Whatever your goals or resolutions include, I hope they provide inspiration and serve you well. If you fall short of your proposed changes, I hope you remember to extend yourself grace and focus on rebounding from defeat and setting your sights on what matters most, moving forward.
As the saying attributed to Anne Frank goes, "What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of our lives haven't even happened yet!"
